Repeated Calls to Community Association Mgmt

Posted in: Forest Pond

Is there a reason that long-term homeowners have to report an issue to Community Association Management over a month on repeated occassions (including weekly follow-up's) to hear the same message - "we will send an e-mail to the Forest Pond Board to see what they would like to do".  There appears to be some type of communication gap to get issues resolved and the performance shortfall appears to reside with the Forest Pond Board or even worse - the vendor we pay to perform service on our behalf.

Since approximately Mid-August, there has been a commercial vehicle with a ladder rack at 6226 Planters Wood Lane that has not been removed.  Can someone look into this issue?  Previous commercial vehicles on the street were removed in a much more timely fashion with sincere committment from the Board (at the time) as well as the property manager to look out for the interests of the subdivision holistically - not just if the issue was next door to current Board members.

Commercial vehicles, per say, are not prohibited from our neighborhood. Our restrictions and covenants cover some issues, as far as vehicles, and city ordinances cover more.

The city rules say what can be parked on the street in residential areas and what can be parked on a designated driveway. These are rules for all. Our covenants and restrictions cover other issues, such as trailers, boats, motorcycles, and campers. Please read Article 13F(9). There is no wording of " No Commercial Vehicles Allowed".

Thanks for your response.  So although precedence has been set in having two other neighbors on the same street remove their commercial vehicles, we are now operating under an entirely new interpretation?  Two questions, one purpose of having guideliens is to have a standard and ensure consistency - 1) What practices and/or procedures have been carried over from Cline and Company to Community Association Management to ensure that we maintain that consistency and 2) Have long term implications of this change in approach been considered?
