Why can't people clean up after their dogs? The ballfield in English Ranch Park is covered with dog poop--kids go out there for gym class to play!

Please, clean up after your dog--not only is it unsanitary for the kids, but they could also slip on it.

As the owner of three large dogs, I absolutely make every effort to clean up after them while on ''potty runs''. All it takes is a plastic baggie and something to carry it in. You can even use the garbage cans at the field if you prefer.

Cleaning up after your dogs limits their exposure to other dogs' diseases; i.e., worms, etc. This is especially important for puppies and younger dogs who may not yet have all their required vaccinations.
