a thin dog, probably a golden or related, somehow slipped into our back garden yesterday in upper NW, Forest Hills neighborhood (we are located east of Connecticut Avenue and west of Rock Creek Park, and a couple of blocks from Politics & Prose bookstore). 

The dog is wearing a red harness but no tags.   We borrowed some dog food to feed it this morning.
