Property Owners Clean the Rim of Fox Canyon

Driven by the leadership of Assemblywoman SHIRLEY HORTON, the Neighborhood Association and the publicity provided by KUSI (9/51) NEWS, homeowners and volunteers gathered to clean up of graffiti the entire rim of Fox Canyon. The entrance to the canyon [from REX Avenue] has seen the eternal congregation of junk, debris and other discards, dumped here by lazy hands, irresponsible and careless attitude. The day of the Fox Canyon Hike, one of the hikers noted to the association's president that this area needed some loving and tender care. So the homeowners were approached, help was offered, volunteers gathered and a truck was rented. The clean up day was set to piggyback HORTON'S Graffiti Paint-out Event. One homeowner happily paid the pickup truck rental and dump fees. And the clean up was done, very successfully!
