Rudely awaken by the police patrol cars loud-speakers announcing to the neighbors to move their vehicles away, the residents of lower Auburn Drive, from Ontario to Loris, started thier morning earlier than usual, somewhat startled by the conmotion and noise.
Scrambling to get their vehicles out of the way before the street got clesed, the residents came out of their homes at 6:40 am to meet face-to-face the heavy machinery that would implant the latest improvement to their street.
New asphalt adorns the street now, giving it a beautiful foundation and contrast to the gray NEW SIDEWALKS and the array of colors provided by the houses that line the newly resurfaced street. Lower Auburn received in five hours, flat, a new facelift that will last for about twenty years and give equal years of PRIDE to its residents.
