Get with the Neighborhood Alliance of Central Oklahoma. They can and will help. Their web site is www.nacok.org and their address is 1236 NW 36th Street. Phone # is 405.528.6322. Their Web site has a lot of information and I would suggest that you apply for and attend their next "LEADERS for TODAY" class. The class is an 8 week, one night a week and a couple of Saturdays and it is free. The best class I've seen for neighborhood leaders. Theit Executive Director is Georgie Rasco. If you already have a neighborhood association also contact them and read your covenents. Be aware that a Neighborhood Association is much easier to get started than a Home Owners association. It take at least 60% of home owners approval to start a home owners association. |
