Retention Ponds

We have been having some erosion and garbage issues with our retention ponds. In speaking with St Johns River Management, it looks like we are going to be responsible for handling these issues ourselves. If we do not get them taken care of in soon, they can fine our association. This would mean a special assessment fee for our homeowners to pay for it. If you can help clear/clean-up or shore the embankment please contact Ozzy or Brian. We have also contracted maintenance services through The Lake Doctors to take care of the pH and algae/weeds etc. They will be coming out monthly to do inspections and any chemical treatment needed. Homeowners living around the retension ponds are responsible for maintaining vegitation/grass front of their property. However, board is going to hire land scaping service. Addition to this Lake doctors MUST have access to ponds thru easements. At any giving time, no permanent structure can be erected on easements.
