Once again, of course neither Aurora nor Centennial will have annexation plans because we are a town.

''Part-time leaders are not what we need. WE NEED FULL-TIME LEADERS with the expertise, finances, and expertise to take us into the future.''

It is my belief that part-time leaders who are close to the problems and share in the outcome of decisions, will make much better leaders of our community than disaffected remote full-time leaders. For instance, I'd put Steve Sullivan's or Mike Walter's part-time expertise and leadership abilities up against any County full-time expertise...

Sorry for dropping the names guys... ;-)

Huh? Paved streets have nothing to do with a country / rural lifestyle... Most country farms have paved roads! Making Colfax Avenue a dirt road wouldn't give Capital Hill a rural atmosphere...

Yikes! Ouch to Marie Mackenzie. ''Poor leadership abilities as a full-time Arapahoe County Commissioner, when compared to part time Foxfield Trustees Steve Sullivan and Mike Walters'', says Foxfield Trustee Jerry Zoellner! Words like that sound as if either Foxfield has a blind zealot as a Trustee (please, no fun with a name pun), someone who, as a Trustee, is the eptitome of all that a great number of us feel is the over-riding problem with Foxfield or a prime example of desperate people saying desperate things in desperate times. Jerry, if you need a town to rule that badly, perhaps you could convince Denver to lift their residency rule and you could campaign to replace Wellington at the end of his term. Then, you'd at least have a chance at respect. Good pay too, I hear!

Marie MacKenzie being criticized? DUH. Way to go Jerry. You are right. Comparing her to Mike Walters or Steve Sullivan though is like the pot being compared to the kettle. Although Steve is an attorney and Mike is a janitor/maintenance man comparing them to Marie is the difference between getting a sharp stick in the eye or getting a red hot poker up the nose.

All three are incompetant. Mike and Steve are imcompetant because they are part-time politicians who have other things to do with their lives besides run this town. There is no excuse for Marie's incompetance.

This is a great example of why this town should disband and let Arapahoe County run the show.

Vote for unincorporation and vote out Marie MacKenzie.

Lighten Up Jerry

You folks are missing my point. Anyone working part-time for the town is more of an asset than others whose interest is not concerned with ours - i.e. the full-time employees of Arapahoe county who are in different cities. These include planners and engineers who don't know or care about what happens in Foxfield.

Since Foxfield is in Marie's District, she is a double asset - knowledgable about the town's problems AND full-time.

It's tough to take seriously the thoughts of someone who can't spell...
