Since the election April 2, there have been several meetings discussing the roads in Foxfield:
April 18 Board Meeting discussion of citizen or board sponsored initiative for evaluating paving of roads. Board volunteers to sponsor discussion and evaluation of paving alternative(s).
The roads committee meets the fourth Wednesday each month
April 24, May 22, June 26, July 24
At May 23 Board Meeting Mayor Sullivan established four road
sub-committees:
Road Maintenance ?– Joe Stanley
Paving Alternatives ?– Doug Headley
Road Calming ?– David Cooper
Road Financing ?– Rick Current, Gene West
The Paving Alternative sub-committee has met each Tuesday evening
May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16, etc.
Residents Attending: Larry Geiling, Chuck Scavuzzo, Brian Luker,
Rick Current, Chuck Bohn, Pat Kooi, Gene West, Doug Headley, Steve Sullivan
May 23 through June 6, requested proposals from engineering firms to
define the scope of work to pave Foxfield roads and manage the design and construction.
June 6 Board Meeting WRC selected as engineering firm for paving roads.
June 20 Town Meeting discuss paving Foxfield roads WRC presents the process of developing the scope of work for paving Foxfield roads.
July 26 Notify Arapahoe County Election Commission that Foxfield
roads will be on the ballot.
July 31 Town Meeting discuss paving Foxfield roads - WRC presents paving alternate(s)
August Work on calendar for the election and wording of the ballot
November 5, 2002, Tuesday, Election Day
