All the storm drains located on the streets in our community drains into our ponds. Please do not sweep pinestraw, grass clipings, other yard waste,etc... into these drains because it clogs both the drains and pond system.
Several resident have contacted us stating that various people are throwing trash, including items such as cigarette butts in our ponds. These items are harmful to the wildlife as well as the marine life.
In addition, we would ask those who fish in the lake to be certain not to leave fishing line or hooks unattended. Ducks have gotten tangled and/or hooked in these lines and have been injured.
Also, please make sure that you soak in fertilzer or pesticide applied to your lawn to prevent it from running into the lake.
Your assistance in abiding the foregoing will be helpful to all residents and wildlife.
