I am investigating the hit-and-run death of an eldery man, "Kieran J. Bloecher, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of S. Lopez and Tulan Ave. in Nov., 2004. K.J "Buddy" Bloecher ( sometimes spelled 'Bloecker") grew up in Mid City. His Mother's house was in the 200 block of S. Jefferson Davis Pkwy. and his wife's name was Joan Wallace Bloecher. Mr. Bloecher was a bookeeper at La pants Mfg., later known as La Garment Mfg. and also worked at Varnado's Restaurant and Bar. In his later years, Mr. Bloecher lived in Metairie. He was known to be a member of "Good Friends Of Mid City".
