Skateboard Park Safety Incentives

Since the opening of the Skateboard Park (at Clackamette Park), Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue has responded to a number of injury related calls.

To promote safety and to avoid serious head injuries for those using the park, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue has implemented an incentive program to encourage all skateboarders and roller blade users of the park to wear safety helmets.

T'VF&R will be dropping by the park from time to time to hand out free fast food coupons to
those wearing helmets. These coupons will be for food items donated by fast food restaurants in the Oregon City area.
