Send some feedback on a community get together.  The "Association" really is 1 person doing the financial books and scheduling mowing.  For years there was a group of us that really tried to get things going.  We were always met much resistance and rarely supported.  We are all just volunteers that are simple homeowners that have jobs and families to care for.....just like you.

   There are many new homeowners around that may have new ideas for our community.  Maybe, just maybe some volunteers would step forward to come up with solutions to all the problems everyone is always speaking of.   I'm just curious to see if anyone is really interested in putting time and effort into our neighborhood.

   Post some feedback and ideas instead of complaints.  Maybe we could make it a nice corner social and put our heads together to solve some issues, including collecting dues.  I don't know what else to suggest.  Maybe, as adults, we could actually make this work.

This post has been up for 2 + weeks, and I'm really not surprised, but disappointed that everyone is ok with someone else taking care of things because there's not been one response.  How about us getting together and putting a real TEAM together????  Grove11 is one person, let's see what a group of concerned homeowners can do together, k?  Give feedback on a get together.

I don't think it's a matter of "ignoring" or relying on 1 or 2 people Hugabby. Think it's more so of whether or not your personalty is a "leader" or a "follower". Myself, Im not a leader, as Im not good in ideas, crafts, etc. If given ideas, yes Id particapate, but to be "up front", not my character. Grove 11, seems to be a leader, knowing her in past, she was a "leader", and good at it. As before, I thank her for her part in getting codes in our area. Hope this isn't taken wrong, not meant to be, just wanted to try explain "maybe" reason for not too much replies.
