Gault Village Area Neighborhood Watch

Hello, I'm fairly new to the neighborhood. I bought a home on Borgstrom summer of 2013. I recently heard that the Gault village shopping center was closing. Since the dollar store has left and one of the employees at Family dollar says they are closing at the end of the year. I  went online to see if any ideas were being considered for this space. I am extremely worried because I see my property value declining if this property is left to become an eye sore. In addition, I'm concerned if its torn down rodents will start looking to find another home. Does anyone know where I can find any information on the shopping plaza?
