To you, it is an eye sore. To my family and I, it is not. To be honest, I enjoy being in a neighborhood that has 'family oriented' things set up (whether it be an inflatable jump zone for kids or a golf net for adults.)not a 'Stepford-Wives' environment.
I guess the best thing for you to do, if it upsets you that badly is contact Douglas Mgmt and see about getting rules changed in the community.

Best of Luck to you.

Property Value?????

Its not the net that?’s the annoyance, it?’s the noise, the constant boom of each ball hitting the back of net which appears to have some kind of solid sheeting which creates the noise, without this I would have no issues. I sympathize with the home owners, if they had purchased any home other than an exposed corner lot no one would have a thing to complain about.
Property Value?

Maybe some have not noticed but do you realize they have a fence up now? Besides that it is not like he had a pink flamingo yard art stuck in the ground. What about other who have a commercial van parked in the drivway or those who let kids park in the street making it difficult to pass with oncoming traffic. I could go on but it is a mood point regarding the golf netting since there is a fence up. Lets stop making this the ''soapbox of TLHS and chill...

Fence?

The four foot fence does a wonderful job of hiding the net, huh?
