Wow, the Cambridge Youth Committee had an outstanding first event. We met at the Nordahl Trailer on Manchester Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. We had 27 young people come out and volunteer their time to help those less fortunate, so that they might have a hot meal on Thanksgiving. They rallied together, going door to door, asking their neighbors to help them in this endevor. We are so proud of them, and our community for opening their doors, their cupboards and their wallets to make this such a successful day. And many thanks to all the adults who also volunteered their time to assist these wonderful young people in achieving their goals. The food that the community has donated is being given to the Golden Harvest Food Bank for their Thanksgiving gifts. The homeowners in Cambridge should be very proud of what they have done. I know I'm proud to be a memeber of this community. Be watching the Augusta Chronicle for the story about the children. Now... here is the roll call for our wonderful Youth Committee!

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIAPTED IN THIS EVENT. WHEN I TURNED THE CORNER ONTO MANCHESTER THIS MORNING IT BROUGHT A BIG SMILE ACROSS MY FACE TO SEE ALL THOSE CHILDREN AND ADULTS OUT THERE. WE ALL DID A GREAT JOB AND WORKED REALLY HARD. WHAT A GREAT GIFT TO SHARE WITH YOUR CHILDREN...HELPING OTHERS.
