GFCA Ice Cream Social - Annual event at Brinton Park will be Sunday, September 11th 2-4pm. All are welcome for fun, fellowship, and delicious homemade Kilby Cream ice cream from Cecil County cows courtesy of Kilby?’s Inc., 795 Firetower Road, Colora 410-658-6186.

Greater Glen Farms and Tara Area Community Yard Sale Saturday, September 17th 8am to 2pm - GFCA will advertise our area-wide garage sale event on web and in Cecil and New Castle County newspapers. Contact Dee and Owen for more information and balloons to mark your homes. Passing on unneeded items is a great form of recycling! Rain date 9-24-05.

Calling All Campers ?… Join your fellow Glen Farms and Tara area residents for our community CampOut At Fair Hill Event, Saturday, October 1st, 2005. Meet at McCloskey Pavilion in Fair Hill NRMA after 4 pm. Dinner will be served later with grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, buns, drinks and paper products provided by GFCA & volunteers. Please bring a side dish to share. We hope to have a campfire sing-a-long if musicians volunteer. All are welcome so load up your tents and chairs and come on out for the fun! Let?’s Clean Up Glen Farms Streets and Parks ?– Plans ready for our community cleanup event on Saturday Oct 22nd. Those able to help can meet at Lake George parking area on South Parkway around 9am for bags and to split up responsibilities. Raindate 10/29. Walking the neighborhood? Carry a trash bag along in case you see anything that needs picking up!

GFCA General Meeting - Join us 7pm on Thursday November 17th at the Newark Baptist Church on Rt. 273 & Glen Drive just east of Little Egypt Rd. We will have speakers and a chance to catch up on old friends and area doings. Please join us with your ideas and input.

Carolling - This years caroling event will be held on Saturday, Dec 10th. Put it on your calendars and let us know if you would like to host or join in with the family fun. Expect refreshments and plenty of good cheer!
