MAILBOX VANDALISM - $250 REWARD OFFERED BY GFCA BOARD

TO: GFCA AND TARA RESIDENTS FROM: GFCA BOD

During the last week several mailboxes were vandalized in the Glen farms-Tara neighborhood. While an occasional prank can be overlooked, these malicious and illegal acts exceed the bounds of what might be considered mischevious behavior. Many of our otherwise tolerant residents are justifiably angered and are demanding positive action! To that end, the GFCA BOD has set up an anonymous tip line with the Cecil County Sheriff??™s department and posted a $250.00 cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Simply call 410-996-5500 and ask for Michael Davis, the deputy assigned to Glen Farms. He will keep your information confidential and let us know if it leads to an arrest. Look for updated information on our web site www.glenfarms.org and keep your e-mail updated on our distribution list by contacting Don Verrico at dverrico@comcast.net . (We are trying to be very responsible with your e-mail confidentiality and will try to make sure you only get officially sanctioned material??¦)

Those of you who would like to contribute to the cash reward may contact any of the GFCA board members or call Robanne Palmer, GFCA VP (410-620-1656). We have already received several offers and I suspect that this reward could easily grow to exceed $500.

To the residents who were victimized by this vandalism, we all extend our deepest regrets. To the misguided perpetrators we honestly hope that you will thoughtfully reconsider your actions??¦we were all young once and have only to look into our own lives to see actions that we regret committing; however, we will not continue to tolerate these misdeeds and intend to actively pursue a firm remedy.
