Tribute to Tama Tuala, KG6SIZ/SK 1967 - 2007
Tama Tuala, KG6SIZ passed away on August 6, 2007 after a long illness with cancer. He leaves behind a family of seven children.
?“Silent Key?” is a term used by ham radio operators as a term of respect for a ham who has passed on. It comes from the Morse code prosign SK, which means "end of transmission".
Tama will be remembered by the hams of the Glendora California Stake for being in the first group in 2003 to qualify for the Amateur Radio License. More importantly, he is remembered for his warm smile and desire to serve as an Emergency Communicator. Tama will remain in our hearts with his Callsign KG6SIZ/SK.
