Antenna Mast

Posted in: Glendora Emergency Response Communications

I am looking into putting up a 40' guyed antenna mast.  Has anyone had any experience with the City of Glendora regarding this?  Rulkes/regulations.  I went into planning the other day and the person I spoke to didn't even know what I was talking about.

Well, the answer you received kind of sums it up. If you will look around town, especially in lower "baja" Glendora you will find a plethora of towers, masts, etc. I don't think you will have any problems with the City.  I have an 20 foot high MFJ-1798 on my roof that has been there for many years with no problems. Go for it!

Thanks for the replies.  I have installed a 45' mast in my backyard.  What a difference some elevation makes!
