2ND ANNUAL GOLDEN TRIANGLE HOLIDAY LIGHTS CONTEST

HEAR YE! HEAR YE!
The 2nd Annual Golden Triangle Neighborhood Holiday Lights Contest is under way! Barbara and Larry Fullerton of The Fullerton Company have jump-started this year's contest by again offering $500 in prize money for the best holiday lights in the neighborhood.

Let's build upon last year's light contest to make this a growing tradition in the neighborhood. Businesses and residents are urged to participate in a variety of ways.

Most important, put up some lights!

Have your lights up and enter the contest by December 8! You've got nothing to lose.

Watch for an entry form in the December newsletter.

Let's sweeten the prize pot! We're off to a great start with the Fullertons' donation. Each homeowners association is being asked to generate interest in its own building. Business owners, how about donating a prize? It doesn't need to be big. Money is fine, but a certificate for a product or service would be great, too. Donated prizes can go into the general prize pot, or you can put a twist on your donated prize, such as a prize for best lights on Delaware Street, best blue lights entry, best entry by a non-condo residence, etc. Submit your prize by Thanksgiving so it can be listed in the December newsletter.

Of course, this contest can't be a one-person operation. Volunteers are needed for judging, coordination of entries, and assembling and divvying up prizes. If you want to volunteer, please step forward as soon as possible.

Prizes will be awarded at the Golden Triangle Neighborhood Association Holiday Party, to be held from 6 - 10 pm on Tuesday, December 12, at Racine's.
