Do you have something to say about the Lower East Side? GOLES knows people who need to hear it. On Tuesday February 23 we will be heading to Albany to tell our State Senators and Assembly members about our vision of the Lower East Side. Come with us!
Don?’t worry about it if you might be a little shy to raise your voice and speak out about your concerns. We?’re going together! Your presence is important. Just showing legislators your neighborhood is important enough to spend a day in Albany sends a message.
We will be traveling by chartered bus. Big comfortable seats with snacks provided and lots of fun. We will leave from in front of the GOLES office at 525 E. 6th Street (A &B) at 7 AM and we should return by 7 PM. And don?’t hesitate to bring along the older kids.
