GMHOA Board Minutes 6/26/2011
Attendees:
President-Andy Bidinatto
Vice President-Brian Robb
Treasurer-Marion Scida
Secretary-Debbie Eisenberg
Member-at-Large Sean Johnson
ACC Committe Members- Jonathan Rader and Freddie Sandifer
The meeting was called to order at 3:15 p.m. by President Andy Bidinatto.
The first order of business was to discuss the status of the sale of Lot 14 to the Gill's. No one has received word from the attorney letting us know if the paperwork was completed selling part to the Gill's. Andy will check further. Brian Robb will get updated bids for liability insurance for Lot 14. Andy will speak with the Gill's to see if they will sign a document stating they will not encroach further on the property.
The moving of the electrical and sprinkler box are still being considered. The HOA agreed to pay up to $500 to move the boxes but have not been able to get a bid that even comes close. We are working with the homeowners to try to work out something everyone can be happy with.
We received a grant from Chesapeake for $9020 specifically for beautification of the front entry. Brian Robb will check with Chesapeake to see if we can get some free trees for the front from their tree farm. The ACC committee will be getting bids for other shrubs, etc.
Changes and updates need to be made to the bylaws. Anyone interested in helping with this should contact the board. A special meeting will be held in the fall to address changes to the bylaws and any other issues that have come up.
Marketability of our neighborhood is important to all . Andy suggested everyone continue looking at ideas to accomplish this and look at ideas to generate revenue to avoid an increase in our HOA dues.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:40 p.m.
