Republic Services: Garbage and Recycling

Trash collection

-Please use nothing larger than a 33 gallon trash can, or lease a 96 Gallon mobile toter from Republic. ALL TRASH MUST BE CONTAINED
-Limit solid waste to a maximum of 10, 33-gallon cans.
-Tree Limbs should be bundled and no longer than 6 feet.
-Water heaters and softeners must be drained in order for pickup.
-Refrigerator pickup must be scheduled through (702)734-5400

Recycling

-Red Basket: Aluminum, tin cans and plastic bottles can be recycled. Plastic bottles must have plastic lid and neck removed, and only plastics #1 and #2 can be recycled. Look for the triangle symbol on plastic products to determine the number.
-White Basket: Newspapers, phone books and magazines.
-Blue Basket: Glass bottles. No mirrors, plate glass, broken glass or ceramics.
-Cardboard can be recycled. Boxes should be broken down and placed next to the recycle bins.
-Motor Oil: Place used oil into a one gallon plastic container and place next to recycling bins. Only 2 gallons may be collected at any time.

Trash is collected every Monday and Thursday morning.

Recycling is collected every other Thursday. Below are the upcoming dates
