Smart
Gee Chris, I'm glad you think that way. Would you give her a ''break'' if she ran over your child? ''Oh, sorry, I was just having a bad day.''
Thanks for your insight.

People in Glass Houses...
In an effort to let this rest, this is my final post...
A. I mentioned I agreed she was driving too fast (especially on Halloween) and was in no way condoning it. Please don't misunderstand the point of my post. And, to your point, fortunately, no children were injured that night.
B. Before anonymously labeling a neighbor an ''idiot'' online, it'd be great if those anoymously posting learned the facts of the incident and actually got to know the person (a fellow neighbor) prior to doing so. I'm certain anyone would appreciate the same courtesy if they made a mistake.
C. We'd all be fortunate to have more people like the one in question residing in BBF. Trust me. This woman would do anything for a fellow neighbor and has.
D. Those posting don't know the circumstances and it is not my place to bring them up in this forum. There is another, valid side.
E. From what I see daily she's not the only one who has driven fast in the neighborhood. People in glass houses...
F. If the concern about speed is genuine, let's together create something positive from the incident. Larger signs, lower the 25mph speed limit, painting the speed limit on the street, insert speed bumps, speed detection signs, etc. Maybe we can do something special for Halloween next year. I don't know. Call me, my number is listed, I'm easy to find, and I'm certain we have common friends in the neighborhood. I'm happy to get involved vs. proliferating negativity via this venue.
Final post.

To Chris
You're setting yourself up Chris, people on this site only know one thing, ATTACK ! I agree with you, there are way too many people in this neighborhood that drive like maniacs and most of them are women. Yes, that's right ! I have known women that have left their little ones at home by themselves, to make a ''quick'' run to the grocery store.
( Talk about ignorant ) and then rush to get home.

I AGREE
I agree with the previous post. This board is all about the ''attack.'' It is far from neighborly. I have to respect Chris for signing his post. I have not seen many names signed to the posts I have read. I myself am not brave enough to sign my name. As far as the woman driver on Halloween, I agree that she should not have been driving fast. But I do not think her actions should reflect the kind of person she is. No one was hurt. If she was the only person who drove too fast in the neighborhood than I can see calling her out. She is a nice person and would do anything for her neighbors. Not to mention she is a great mother. So, lets all be thankful that no one was hurt. I too would be interested in coming together and stopping the speeding thru our neighborhood. I
