And I thought Thomas was a common name. I had no idea we had so many of the famous Anonymous family right here in our fair city!
But seriously folks...I respect everyone's right to anonymity, and it is certaily appropriate if disclosing one's identity puts that person in danger. If that is not the case, in situations like scooter annoyance and blatent dog poop abandonment, try some face to face communication. The offending scooter parents are probably just waiting for a reason to ground the darn thing. And since not cleaning up after oneself and one's pets, children, etc., indicates a lack of some basic social skills, perhaps that person is just trying to reach out, asking for a little conversation in exchange for a little doggie doo. No doubt after discovering that he didn't like the outcome the time he did the pooping himself. Next time, have ready a few of the paper towel/plastic bag arrangements and show them how easy it is to become socially acceptable.
It has occurred to me that even though so many people have cell phones, and they can talk to each other virtually every waking hour, we still haven't learned to communicate with each other.
