Each year, The City of Graymoor-Devondale sponsors a holiday decorating contest. And each year, people around our neighborhood have a great time decorating their homes. It's a fun event.

The efforts of our residents to bring joy and cheer to our city are very much welcomed.

Some residents go to great lengths to decorate the outsides of their homes. On December 17, judges from the Northeast YMCA will determine the winners of the best decorated homes.

We encourage everyone to participate in the holiday decorations. If you can only do a little, then please do it. If you like to go all out, we're cheering you on!

Also, City Council Member Allyne Anderson and her helper Charlie Brunner put wreaths and bows on city walls and lightposts. It's a lot of work, but they enjoy creating a colorful holiday effect. And we hope you enjoy it too.
