Trucks, Trailers and Cars.

Posted in: Graymoor-Devondale
Why is the house at the corner of Greenlawn and Buttonwood allowed to park heavy trucks, trucks with trailers and cars on both streets for many hours? Some are parked going in the wrong direction. Some are parked so close to the stop sign on Buttonwood, that I have to be in the oncoming lane to make a turn. Don't we have an ordinance addressing this?
Re: Trucks, Trailers and Cars

I do agree! There is an ordinance about parking on the street which is a max. of 4 hours. This individual is operating a business and I believe these heavy vehicles and trucks with trailers should not be allowed under the ordinance - it should only pertain to residental vehicles; not commercial vehicles.

Today, the dump truck with the salt spreader sat on Buttonwood for more than 12 hours without a citation. You have to wonder about the enforcement of this ordinance.

If an individual is going to operate a business out of his or her home, they should not be allowed to park numerous vehicles on the street. This is a residental area and these commerical vehicles should not be allowed - it is an eye sore!
