G LTC Awards

General Rules for GLTC Award

1. Only scores earned at AKC will be used.

2. The award will run from January 1, 2004 to December 20, 2004.

3. All qualifying scores are to be turned in to the tabulator no later than 21 days after showing. (No scores accepted after Dec. 20).

4. The winner of this or any award given by GLTC must be listed as the owner/co-owner in the AKC Show Results at the time of receiving its first leg for that degree or score applicable to these tabulating systems. The dog must also reside with the owner/co-owner.

5. Attendance at 3 regular GLTC month meetings and 10 hours of service with GLTC is required to win any GLTC award. If a member cannot attend the meetings then they would need to complete 15 hours of documented service and will need to notify the board by November of that year. The board will have to approve their request.

Additional Rules for the Open Scoreboard

1. The award is opened to GLTC members who live within an approximate 50 mile radius of Louisville and who are showing in the Open Class.

2. Failure to turn in a qualifying open score within 21 days of showing will cause the dog being shown to become ineligible for the scoreboard unless special dispensation is given by the Board of Directors.


3. Eight qualifying scores in open are required to win the Open Scoreboard.


4. The dog with the higher open average at the end of the designated time period (se rule #2, General Rules) will be the winner of the Open Scoreboard for the year. Averages will be the calculated to the number of decimal places necessary to establish a winner.

Additional Rules for Utility Scoreboard

1. The award is opened to GLTC members who live within an approximate 50 miles radius of Louisville and who are showing in the Utility Class.

2. Failure to turn in a qualifying open score within 21 days of showing will cause the dog being shown to become ineligible for the scoreboard unless special dispensation is given by the Board of Directors and the tabulator.

3. Five qualifying scores in Utility are required to win the Utility Scoreboard.

4. The dog with the highest utility average at the end of the designated time period (See rule #2, General Rules) will be the winner of the Utility Scoreboard for the year. Average will be calculated to the number of decimal places necessary to establish a winner.


Additional Rules for SuperDog Scoreboard

1. The award is opened to GLTC members who live within an approximate 50 miles radius of Louisville and who are showing in the Open and Utility Class.

2. Failure to turn in a qualifying open or utility score within 21 days of showing will cause the dog being shown to become ineligible for the scoreboard unless special dispensation is given by the Board of Directors and the tabulator.

3. Nine qualifying scores in Open and six qualifying scores in Utility are required to win the SuperDog Scoreboard.

4. The dog with the highest combined average at the end of the designated time period (See rule #2, General Rules) will be the winner of the SuperDog Scoreboard for the year. Average will be calculated to the number of decimal places necessary to establish a winner.

Additional Rules for the Top Ten Scoreboard

5. The award is opened to GLTC members who live within an approximate 50 miles radius of Louisville and who are showing in the Open and / or the Utility Class.

6. Failure to turn in a qualifying open score within 21 days of showing will cause that score to become ineligible for the scoreboard.

7. The dog with the highest number of points at the end of the designated time period (See rule #2, General Rules) will be the winner of the Top Ten Scoreboard for the year. At this time the nine other placements will be determined.
