Neighborhood Benefits
We invite you to join our Neighborhood Association and enjoy these benefits:
- An excellent opportunity to become acquainted with your neighbors.
- A neigborhood preservation program, designed to protect our neighborhood against declining property values by insuring that City ordinances and codes are not being violated.
- Social functions such as the Greenhaven Spring and Fall Block Parties and the annual Holiday Party with general meeting and an additional general meeting of the association each year.
- The Neighborhood maintains a tool shed with specific tolls for the use of all paid association members. Please refer to the tools use policy.
- Major grants secured by the Association to provide beautification such as landscaping and planters, as well as to purchase a mower, tools, and American flags.
- Block Watch Program, designed to make neighborhoods safe and secure.
- A neighborhood newsletter published at various times during the year to keep residents informed concerning activities in our neighborhood.
- Participation in the Citizen's Crusade Against Crime program.
- Neighborhood Clean-Up Program, an annual event to maintain a clean neighborhood. Volunteers work together to dispose of brush, leaves and trash utilizing dumpsters made available to us by the City.
All of the above benefits for an annual members fee of just $10 per household.
Please feel free to attend any monthly meetings. The Greenhaven Association meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Northland Neighborhoods, Inc. office located across Vivion Road from the neighborhood next to Tire Plus.
