In 1991, GNA applied for and received a Public Improvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) grant to make some major improvements in our neighborhood.  Sizeable funds were approved and allocated to construct an enclosed drainage system to replace the open drainage ditch that ran through our neighborhood from Vivion Road on the south to beyond 54th Street on the North.
  2. In 1997 and in 2001, GNA in cooperation with the Public Works Department completed improvement projects to replace driveway culverts for residents in Greenhaven.
  3. In 2005-2010, we submitted a follow-up PIAC request for major improvements for Indiana Avenue from Vivion Road from the South and the Gladstone city limits to the North, including the bridge.  We have been advised that the request has been approved and that construction.
