City of Jacksonville Matching Grants Program

The Association has submitted an application for a matching grant with the City. The Matching Grant Program provides funds for improving neighborhoods. Our application has requested matching funds for a front entrance improvment project to include trees and landscaping along Greenland Road as well as aeration fountains for the retention lakes.

To qualify, each applicant must explain the proposed project, prepare a budget, and acquire partners from businesses or individuals who donate money or provide in-kind services and goods such as discounts for materials, etc. We were able to secure 2 partners who provided us with letters of intent. The association must provide volunteer hours which is based on 25% of requested matching grant money.

The application was submitted by the deadline, June 29, 2001. The grants will be awarded by the City no later than October 2, 2001. We will notify you as soon as we know!
