Bill is a successful, retired businessman and is now willing to share his time and expertise in making our Civic Association a stronger and more meaningful one.
If you have not met Bill and his wife, Juanna, we urge you to do so. They are a wonderful, working husband-and-wife team.
Ann Brown, Second Vice-President:
Ann and her husband, Ed, have lived in Greentrees for 32 years, some of the earliest residents in the area, and have been staunch supporters of GCA.
Ann has retired from a career in Teaching, and we are very fortunate to have her serve as Second Vice President. She is an asset to our neighborhood and the GCA.

Prints of Kirby Parkway Still Available
Lovely prints of Kirby Parkway, painted by artist Mary Jon Herr, showing the new Greentrees sign and the Parkway in full bloom, are still available. 8 x 10 size is $25.00; 11 x 14 is $40.00. Those interested may contact Ann Schmitt at 754-0365.

With official dedication of the Park by Judge Holmes' family, this new facility will be joyfully used by children and families of Memphis ... an outstanding example of what can be accomplished when government and civic clubs work together.

Greentrees WebSite:
Pam Brown has done a wonderful job in creating and maintaining Greentrees' Website. This important activity can be accessed by typing www.neighborhoodlink.com/memphis/greentrees on your address bar in your browser. It contains a wealth of information. Thanks, Pam. If you haven't done so, try it!

Progress Report on Kirby Parkway Expansion. Officials state that the project should open in the early spring, some 9 to I I months late. Kudos to Guy Treece, Holy Spirit Church and all others in GCA who worked so tirelessly to create this project.

Be Considerate of Your Neighbors
All dog owners are confident that "their little darling" would never "poop" in someone else's yard....
WRONG! They will ... and they do! When you walk your dog, take a Plastic bag (or newspaper wrapper). Turn it inside out and remove the "Evidence." Many of your neighbors work hard to keep their yards clean and attractive. Do your part by picking up after your dog.

Grand Job, Yeisers!
Thank you, Angie and Ted, for the great work you did this past year as Editors of the Newsletter for Greentrees. Unless you've done this, you have no idea how involved this job is. Express your appreciation the next time you see them.
