Citizens disturbed by a noisy animal can call the Police Department and complain any time they feel their peace is being distrubed. Citizens are encouraged to contact the offending animal's owner and try to solve the barking problem on their own. However, if the problem persists, please contact the Police Department, and the animal owner will be contacted by a Community Service Officer or Police Officer and advised of the complaint. A summons cannot be served unless there are at least two complainants. The phone number for the animal control division of the Police Department is (303)438-6426.
