We can all help as volunteers

Attention Neighbors!

Senior Citizen Services wants to partner with you in its efforts to
provide home maintenance and repair projects to seniors in your area.
Every weekend SCS’ HOMES (Home Owner Maintenance and
Enhancements for Seniors) program utilizes volunteers to tackle projects
all over Fulton County.


On May 21st we have a special project called SWEEP! We are focusing
efforts on zip code 30318 for a one-day “sweep”—providing repairs,
painting, yard work, gutter help, etc. to seniors in need.


There are 3 ways you can help:



1.Volunteer that day or get a group to volunteer



2.Send us referrals for seniors’ homes in 30318 that need help.
Please send referrals by April 20th to jsmythe@scsatl.org



3.Offer ladders or lawn mowers to be used in work that day



In addition, the attached flyer outlines specific sponsor opportunities
for businesses. Though sponsors are needed, our main objective at this
point is for neighbors to get involved in volunteering for or referring
fellow
senior neighbors in need.
