ENVIRONMENT...NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UPS

THE NILE VIRUS IS STILL WITH US

HELLO, NEIGHBORS....
Mrs. Scruggs, I am Frederick Huff with the Fulton County Department of
Health & Wellness. The Fulton County West Nile Virus program in
collaboration with CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
would like to conduct community cleanups this summer in the following
NPU'S. NPU S, J and W are targeted for the cleanups.

Graduate students from the CDC, will evaluate the mosquito problems and
solutions in these communities before the cleanups, during the cleanups,
and for the rest of the summer after the cleanups using a variety of
methods including adult mosquito larval surveys.

In the past we have partnered together for community cleanups dealing
with the West Nile Virus.
Please advise how we can have another successful community cleanup
collaboration.

Chair NPU-J response: In light of the extreme used tire dumping problem
in NPU-J I think this is long overdue for this area and a very good
