WE NEED MORE NEWSLETTER DELIVERERS

A round of applause for the nineteen nice members who volunteered last month to deliver the Oct/Nov issue of the newsletter. That?’s the one that goes ?– by hand ?– to every home within our Historic Montclair boundaries: Quebec to Holly, Sixth to Colfax. However, it would be nice to have another ten of you to lighten the load of the nifty nineteen.

Here?’s the deal. We divide each street into two segments: from the north side of Sixth Ave. to the south side of Tenth, and from north side of Tenth to south side of Colfax. You sign up and we give you a segment ?– or an entire street if you feel hale and hearty.

Let?’s say you?’re assigned the lower section of Newport. You would deliver to all homes on both sides of Newport between Sixth and Tenth, and to the homes facing the avenues between Newport and Oneida.

Volunteer extraordinaire Jane Moore will receive the 2,500 newsletters from the printer and count out the correct number of newsletters required for each street and avenue. She will then bundle them up and we?’ll have someone carry the packets to your front door. What could be easier?
