Is anyone attending the meeting tomorrow? I noticed the welcome message of this site indicates some rift with the HOA. I've lived on Sutler Hill since 2000, and  believe I've seen an overall improvement in the HOA's response, activities management company, and communication. We were very happy to see the lights installed in the semi-circle and on the street as we have had gang activity in the past. I am planning to attend if there are any topics anyone would like me to raise.

I am not sure if you attended the March meeting when the board president boasted they could vote on anything they wanted and we had little to do with their decision. This was in relation to the guest parking pass proposal. Clearly, the board does not understand that they are required to take a vote from the residents. It is our vote that shall decide what does or does not happen in our community.

On a side note... the whole parking pass thing was being pushed to benefit one member of the board and NOT the community as a whole. It would have been a huge burden to us all and costly.

But with overwhelming opposition by us to the idea... the board decided not to push forward with it. I am very confident it would end up in court if they tried it.

I could not attend the meeting this month...  what did they discuss?
