Question about HOA rules

Posted in: Castlegate

Is a group home considered a rental. boarding house or hotel.

Is it OK to run a business out of you home with employees with you not living in the home. Will this in pack property valves.

If its ok I am thinking about opening a group home from troubled teens

with disabilities.I am hopping each will have there own car for transportation. I will hire a staff  of home mothers to over see them.

Of course I will not be leaving in the area because I   hate the noise and traffic it will bring.

But with the money I make I can move to the ironwood crossing area

so I can be close enough to keep the yard up.You know the new development that looks the  way castlegate use to look.

I wonder if their HOA is keeping out group homes mmmmm.

Put it in Ironwood crossing they will be happier there and so will we.

Being the our HOA has already allowed one group home on my block

and it apears thats its not a problem to run a stand alone operation out of a home why not me.

Not saying it's the case, but maybe the HOA doesn't know about the group home.  Not sure there's much they can do legally anyway, as that may be beyond their power to prevent.   If you have an issue with it, I'd encourage you to call or e-mail Oasis and speak with Brett or e-mail the HOA board and speak with one of them to see if there's anything that can be done.  And if they're in violation of the CC&R's make sure you let Oasis and/or the board know about which ones are being broken.
