Hamilton Highlands Subdivision

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up on the mowing/maintenance of the entrances, access lot and detention area.  Due to the fact that the majority of homeowners in our community don't want to pay their share of the annual dues, there will be no mowing.   We do not have the money to do so.  I do want to thank the 4 homeowners that have sent in their dues for 2012.  Unfortunately, that amount and the little we had left from last year won't even cover 1 mowing. 

maybe we need to raise the dues to 20.00 a month to cover what we need i would be on board  for raising dues

maybe we could charge 10.00 dollars for participate in the 2012 yard sale and the money could go toward the mowing this summer

I appreciate your ideas, but people won't even pay $10.00 a year or $30.00 a year to maintain the common grounds.  I've done the bookwork for several years now and nothing has changed regarding homeowners paying dues.  If it wouldn't be for the faithful homeowners that have regularly paid their dues through the years, the mowing would never have gotten done.  One homeowner last year even advanced his yearly dues for 6 years to help out.  Another homeowner mowed the entrances on his own time to help out.  I'm at a loss for a solution.
