Hammett's Glen

Lawns?

Posted in: Hammetts Glen

I have notice most recently that my lawn is not groomed as it was in the past. I have surveyed other lawns in the neigborhood and notice similiar apparent degradation in the turf in general.

It seems that the lawn is uneven and dying in not just my lawn but others as well.

I can only speculate but something has changed in the types of mowing equipment.

Hey Tony. I relayed your question to the experts at GroundsMaster. As soon as I hear back I'll post their answer here.

I hope all is well. We have been out of town and I thought I would follow up on this item.

Any word from Groundsmasters?

Hey Tony...sorry for taking so long to get back w/ you. I've been out of town most of this month. Hershey and I were lucky enough to be able to go to the President's Cup in San Fran and then on to Bermuda for the Grand Slam of Golf. We had a lot of fun but it's good to be home.

I spoke to Clint about your question and his answer was that most of what you are seeing is seasonal change in the grasses. The Bermuda and other summer grasses are starting their dormancy and tend to look disheveled and patchy during these fall months. He looked at your and others lawns and didn't see anything to be concerned about as far as the health of the grasses go.

Does this help?
