Denver Digs Trees is a program of the Park People, a non-profit organization to line the streets of Denver with shade trees. Denver Digs Trees offers trees worth $30-40 for $15 each if you agree to plant them no more than 10?’ from the curb and agree to maintain and water them.
If a group of neighbors is interested, the Hampden South Neighborhood Organization could buy trees from our dues and plant them along Tamarac Street next to the drainage ditch that backs many of your houses. It would help reduce the traffic noise and provide a visual barrier from the traffic. Anyone interested?
Trees must be ordered by January 21, 2001 and picked up and planted on April 21, 2001. Call 303-722-6262 for more details
