Howdy neighbors,
unfortunately, since I'm a light sleeper I can hear a pin drop down the street and once again, my senses said, "check it out". I live on War Wagon Drive and heard a noise at 5:10AM ish this morning, Tuesday (7/15) so got up and from the window could see a person scurry away from between the 2nd and 3rd neighbors house adjacent to me, drivewasys are side-by-side. I believe this person was scouting for cars. I got up and followed him in my car minutes later and encountered him over on Rooster Drive, coming form Rio Lobo and War Wagon Drive. I drove around in circles so not to raise suspicion as other people in the area were also preparing to leave for work. Here's the description to the best of my ability: Male, 180 - 200 lbs, bright white shoes and socks (high/low tops), baggy shorts and and bulky jacket. He appeared dark skinned and had possibly had a beanie cap on, large white cell phone in his hand (I could see the glare of the screen) and white ear plugs. After the second loop around, I went home and called the police about 5:35 AM to report it.
I plan to post some signs at the major entrances to this neighborhood that "prowlers" are in the area.
Everyone should be on high alert.
