Ok,

The City of Milfor has Annexed our development. Therefore there is the allowment of taxation in order to have representation.

When the lots were flooded and not mowed, the City came to our rescue. The city will also snowplow the roads, mow the common areas, and pay for the street lights. Is this correct?

If so, I would question the need for a HOA at all. Really, is it necessary? If deemed necessary, it is appropriate?

I would think that the HOA and the City would have a relationship since some issues surely cross boundaries.Who is the current contact for the Board on issues such as architectural, structural, and landscape?

I would like to invite the Mayor of Milford and other City officials to our meeting in Sept.. Does anyone object? Is the meeting an open forum or only for members who have paid the dues?

I believe certain officials in Milford are questioning our HOA and the legality of an annual due, and I would like to see what type of arguement is addressed.

If we pay the city taxes and are serviced by the city, I do not think the HOA/board should exist. Although I have supported them on numerous issues I would challenge the need for thier existence once the homeowners hear what types of services the City of Milford supplies us.

The topic came up today and I found it very interesting and disturbing at the same time.

I agree, this has been the feelings of some of the home owners all along.  Since we are now offically a part of the city, do their regulations take president over the HOA regs.  We pay taxes to the city for them to inforce the regs & such things as snow plowing.

In my openion their is no need to pay dues to the HOA and taxes to inforce the same regs. for Orchard Hill.  That is duplaction of gov. regulations, let the city earn their high taxes.

I found out our HOA is voluntary. All  we need is majority vote to get rid of it. I would lobby for this. I know of some who would be for it and some who would be against it.

I also have been told that there should have been a vote to get rid of the management company.

I have been made aware there is an empty seat on our board since one of Lacrosse's members is no longer with them.
