I am alarmed at the boldness of some of the break-ins in the area. I have been told several stories of people knocking at a home and when no one answers they proceed to the back door and either kick it in or steal anything they can outside.
A car in the driveway, animals in the house or a posted note of an alarm system does not seem to deter them. I guess they think they can get away before anyone calls the police. Be on the watch for things like that in the area.
I have stressed this before. If you are on friendly terms with your neighbors, trade emergency numbers and call them if you see anything out of the ordinary or odd.
If you are not on good terms and see something that does not look right, call the police and then lie about it HAHA You may make a new friend if you stop a robbery at their house.
