Stop Sign
The stop sign helps to slow people down traveling on Devonshire so that they aren't pushing 60 by the time they hit the duck pond. We have had many less ducks get hit since the addition of the sign. For the turn on Maricourt ... People were taking that corner at 30 MHP plus and were constantly knocking down that mailbox on the corner. Also by the time they get 1/2 way down to the next stop sign, they are going slightly less than they used to. It's still a superhighway but I have to agree that it's seen a little change for the positive since the sign addition. As for the Willoughby Station residents with their cute and kitschy sign that reads ''Slow down, We (heart) our Children'' I say ... ''Sure you (heart) your children but you don't blink at going 50+ trying to mow ours down!'' Can we get a sign that reads that?
