At our last General Meeting on March 10, we received updates from David Gwinn, Carrollton Neighborhood Partnership program manager on Carrollton economic development programs David explained the benefits of the new President George Bush Tollway that is now complete through Carrollton. He revealed that 95% of the property in Carrollton is developed. Carrollton has a good quality of life community and is home to 113,800 citizens, 5,200 businesses and a daytime workforce of over 75,000 who all know it's a great place to be living and working in Carrollton. This has been a year of challenge and change for our neighborhood. We had a destructive hail storm on April 4 that damaged the roofs on homes near Westminster to Rosemeade.
Fran and Jerry Forsyth moved to Georgia this summer after several years in our neighborhood.
