I am sad to inform you all that the current board of officers are not able to continue as your officers. Kathy Fortna has declined the Vise-President position due to personal reasons. Megan (Sipple) Ward has declined the position as Treasurer due to personal and family obligations. Kathryn Behm has declined the Secretary position due to going off to College. As for myself, as President, I will continue to plan the events until we have new officers nominated or a decision is made for the associations future. Or at the time that my family and I purchase a new home and move out of the neighborhood.


It is that time of year again, the time when you can choose your community association officers. April is the start of a new year for the Association Officers. Now is the time to start sending in your nominations for the 2009-2010 year officers. You can nominate anyone who lives in the community, they do not need to be a "home owner". You can choose a neighbor, or yourself for any position on the board. All position descriptions will be given to interested individuals. The person making the nominations will be kept private, and only a total tally of votes will be printed in the next newsletter. If you are new to the neighborhood, you may like to try your hand in one of the positions, we would certainly welcome you to do so. This association will only survive if there is an active interest from members who want to continue this wonderful organization.

The current board of officers has been in office for the past two years, and we have enjoyed every minute of it. We have all delighted in bringing new events, fundraisers and information to you, our community neighbors! UNFORTUNETLY, I am sad to tell you that we cannot continue to be your officers. You may submit your nomination via email, mail, or phone call, or drop off a note in our mail box. But please do so before May 10, 2009, because the voting will close on May 11.
