March cleanup report
Even though the City?’s large item collection schedule changed and coincided with our ?“Dial-a-Trailer?” day, we still collected 98 truckloads of debris from neighbors!
Al Lindsey, Ron Segovia, Lou Gloria and Rachel Cywinski assisted with the clean up throughout the day, with Ramon Quintero joining them for the afternoon.
Bertha Saucedo made coffee and brought refreshments for the volunteers at the cleanup and working in the Xeriscape Garden. Ron Segovia provided breakfast tacos for all volunteers.

A Special Person
Ramon Quintero has always been a dependable volunteer in the Highland Park Neighborhood Association and served for many years on our Board of Directors. Mr. Quintero is now very active in the Sunny Slope Neighborhood Association which he helped found, and is increasingly providing leadership in the Sunny Slope neighborhood. Even though he is very busy with SSNA activities, Mr. Quintero still attends every HPNA general membership meeting and assists with cleanups. We thank you, Ramon Quintero!

City Council Forum
District 3 candidates who participated in our April 5 forum included Jerry Clancy, Joe Farias, Toni Moorhouse and Ron Segovia. Tino Duran moderated the event. We appreciate everyone who sent in questions or participated during the forum!
