What is the public school associated with this neighborhood?

MuseumGirl:  as of the 2011-2012school calendar year- most of the neighborhood is assigned to Elder W. Diggs Elementary, School #42.  It is a beautiful building located on the corner of 25th and Rader (approx 3 blks west of MLK on 25th St.).  You may have recently heard about Elder Diggs Elementary in the news.  Named after a former Principal and the  founder of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Diggs Elementary is the recent recipient of a new $60,000 playground donated by the men of Kappa Alpha Psi (along with a new computer lab) in honor of their 100th anniversary.  Members of the fraternity are regular volunteers at school functions.  The school offers a variety of extra curricular options, family education "fun" nights, YMCA Before & Aftercare, after school tutoring, dance team, cheerleading, basketball-and the list goes on.  Please feel free to come and take a tour of our building the week before school starts.  We would love to show you around.
